Please Excuse Me

It got me.

The flu hit on Wednesday.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I'm just starting to feel normal again so please excuse me while I convalesce.

I'm pretty sure it's tea tree and it just makes me happy.

  9. Steve,

Feel better soon. In Sweden I would drink hot milk with whiskey + raw honey before bedtime to get rid of nasty bugs! Very old school!

  13. Guess I checked in on you too early! Damn. I sympathize. Like Jane, I got a flu shot after getting H1N1 two years ago on Valentine's Day. Couldn't lift my head all week. Don't push it... never pays to push it.
Glad you're on the mend though.

  15. Sorry you are sick. This year's flu is not cute at all. (Next year a shot, perhaps?) We'll take that as an eligible flower for the house - someone's house!

  25. Oh Steve. When you feel better - go to two spoonfuls of honey a day, it will keep your immune system up and you will be smelling those flowers soon.

    Salute (to your health)

  26. I hope you feel better very soon, Steve. In the meantime, have lots of rest, and I recommend chicken soup and drinking warm lemon juice with honey...actually I recommend those even if you are not sick.

No need for apology. I have been most fortunate so far to have escaped this monster flu and for the first time ever did get a flu shot.

  40. Oh dear, I hope you're feeling much better soon. I swear by flu shots (knock on wood). Be sure not to rush into things once you're feeling better, give your bod a break to recoup.
On another note, to get your mind back onto that lovely pic, I think that photo is of a Leptospermum, indeed called a tea tree in Australia. http://www.anbg.gov.au/leptospermum/index.html
