My Christmas Card to You

I'm normally a very humble and self-effacing person so I hope you'll forgive me if I gloat for a moment about winning "Best Tree" in the Holiday Decorating Contest on Scot Meacham Wood's "The Adventures of Tartanscot" blog.  The contest was judged by a panel of esteemed judges and prizes were awarded in three different categories.  I'm excited to have won what I think is the best prize:  Christmas ornaments from Gump's San Francisco that will be hand selected by Scot.

In all seriousness, I'm absolutely thrilled to have won.  There were some really amazing submissions and being chosen is a real honor.

Thank you all again for following along during the Christmas season.  It's been a lot of fun sharing the season with you and I'm blessed by all of your wonderful feedback.  Here is my Christmas card to you.

Merry Christmas to all!  May all the joys of the season be yours.

Steve

  22. Wow! REally? That is a big honor!! So happy for you, you had a vision for your tree and stuck to it. YOu gotta love it when others feel the same way you do! I met Scot in NYC at a design blog party~he had on his trademark plaid pants. Betsy Speert just wrote a blog post on how a house she decorated head to toe for a guy on the North Shore who was mad for plaid. It really was awesome. Merry Christmas Steve!

  59. Congratulations on winning! I can't even imagine how beautiful your tree will be NEXT year with Gump's decorations...wow! Lucky you...looking forward to seeing you put your own unique touch on that! BTW I bought some of those clips liked you show here and from your posta few days ago - they are easy to find here since people still use real candles (no lights) on their trees. Not vintage, but still pretty and I will enjoy using them, inspired by your idea! Merry Christmas Steve!
